Steve Rudolph and saxophonist/composer Jonathan Ragonese bridge many eras and styles of improvised music - they documented their duo with the recording "Ardent Marigolds" in 2014 & “Pale Blue Flowers” in 2023.

 

Available as a duo / trio with bass or quartet with bass & drums.

A full program of original orchestral arrangements of American classics for strings is also available.

Bob Naeye's Backyard Concert - Steve Rudolph Latin Quartet

featuring Ryan Kauffman, Edilson Sabogal Hernandez & Steve Meashey

There is no admission fee, although they will be passing around a donation box with all the proceeds going to the musicians, with a recommended minimum donation of $20 per adult attendee. We have four confirmed musicians, three of whom are regular performers with the Harrisburg Jazz Collective: The concert will consist of two one-hour sets with a 30-minute intermission between sets. The concert will end around 8:00 p.m. Bring your own food, drinks, plates, cups, utensils, lawn chairs (or blakets/towels), and insect repellent. Pets are not permitted, no exceptions.
