We can all hear the sugarplums dancing in our heads once you mention the famous Nutcracker Suite. The iconic ballet music of Tchaikovsky re-imagined by legendary jazz masters Shorty Rogers, Billy Strayhorn and Duke Ellington, is returning to the stage! Performed by the Scranton Jazz Festival Big Band under the direction of maestro Marko Marcinko. So, bring a toy and don’t miss this wonderful holiday event to benefit the Scranton Jazz Festival and the Children’s Advocacy Center. .*All toys donated must be new and unwrapped. Thank you for your generosity.
Tickets are also available at the Box Office in the lobby an hour before curtain. There is a Chairlift in the Ritz building for handicapped patrons. If you need handicapped seating (in the pit of the theater), please email us Masks must be worn in the Ritz building. The Black Box Cafe will be open an hour before curtain.
